GROOVETOP ON TOUR
THE PHILIPPINES: MANILA & SIARGAO
9 - 11 AUGUST 2024
GROOVETOP IS GOING ON TOUR, BABYY!
We’re so excited to be collaborating with two amazing venues and some incredible talent from the Philippines on this one.
We’ve always felt so connected to The Philippines, it being a major inspiration for the conception of GrooveTop. so naturally, we wanted our first overseas GrooveTop to take place in the PH!
The lineup reps a mix of Singapore and Filipino DJs - bringing the homies together for a beautiful exchange of talent, making new friends and a weekend we won’t soon forget. We’ve got the best of both worlds for you - party it up in one of the coolest cities then vibe out on the beach to slow jamz in the paradise that is Siargao.
Singapore / intl crew, book those flights.
Filipinos, PULL UP! We can’t wait to party with you.

Favourite restaurant:
If we’re going Pinoy street style then 1000% must try - Chicken House Express at Chino Roses Avenue. Been going here for about 10 years! I take all our international DJ’s here! Thats always the first order of business.
But if around Poblacion, then there are definitely cool spots to try out to! Such as:
Ugly Duck, Khao Khai, Only Pans, Tetsuo, Lamara, Alma, Crying Tiger, Nolita Joe’s, Jumong.
Favourite bar:
Cheshire at the White Rabbit Building, OTO & Annex House - all three in Poblacion / Curator in Legazpi Village / Bar Good Times in Proscenium at the Rockwell Center.
Favourite spot for shopping or local brands:
There are a bunch of cool local brands in Manila that sell apparel & home products but most of them are online (they can probably do delivery to where you’re checked in at): Bastard, TOQA, SUOT, Saan Saan, Cinema Sun, Episodes, Fren, Made by a bunch of nobodies, Syndrome Supply, PLS (pleaselovesummerpls), Sunki, Tropa, A to Z, Garapata, Cafe City Club, Antibiotic Smile, Meraki, Salad Day, HA.MÜ, Proud Race, Fortune W.W.D, .Archives are some cool ones for Men & Women.
For thrift shopping, you can check out Makati Cinema Square, Its Vintage Vintage in Legazpi Village/Salcedo Village, Season Pass located at Maginhawa St in Quezon City & if you have time, check our Cubao Expo.
There are also shops with designer archived pieces found at Archives d’homme et femme.
Near Poblacion, check out shops in the Rockwell Powerplant Mall. There you can find shops likes Universe, Carhartt, Commonwealth & A.P.C, Aesop, Ronnie & Joe.
If you’re keen on getting a tattoo, I highly highly recommend by homie Caves (@caves___, @caves___studio) he recently did Jarreau Vandal’s tattoo. For piercings, check out Ymahe in Poblacion.
Any other favourite hang out spots/ things to do?
As mentioned, you can peep Cubao Expo. They have a mix of thrift, local brands & fun things to do like pottery classes by Bumi and Ashe. You should also check out The Alley at Karrivin for restaurants, home decor & galleries. There you can find: Aphro, artinformal, Casa Bella, The Drawing Room, Mess Hall, Toyo Eatery & Karrivin Studios. Inside Karrivin Studios, you can find my new favourite ramen shop, OYA! And in Chino Roces Pasong Tamo, you can check out a bunch of cool galleries I personally like visiting such as MODEKA, Vinyl on Vinyl, Art Cube, Finale Art File.
Lastly, If you wanna get a haircut and a quick groom: Check out QUBO!
And for the girlies, check out @nailslayyy in BGC.
And for lashes, check out @lashgodbynikki in Poblacion.
